OOOOOWEEE! The marathon is winding down, but you'll still find a plethora of wines in the store and it's time to let our fearless Agent Cru recover. We heard some of you asking for a Cab Franc, and felt it's our duty to deliver. So here it is - a post-marathon Cab Franc to carry us into the evening. Thank you to everyone who joined the live stream, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Silver Ghost’s Cabernet Franc is downright frightening... but in a Nosferatu, classic horror kinda way. It is a HANTINGING gorgeous wine that will stick with you far after your last sip.

Even scarier? You’re snagging this 92 POINT Franc for just $26 instead of the usual $50.

You went to Napa for Cab Sauv, but guess what? Cab Sauv’s mysterious, ravishing cousin showed up, and now you can’t stop thinking about Cab Franc. Especially after a rendezvous with this stunner.

Once the unsung bass player of the blending band, Cab Franc is now the insider’s pick. Forbes says “The secret is out…,” and the San Francisco Chronicle has dubbed it, “…suddenly in vogue.” In fact, Cabernet Franc grapes are now fetching more per ton in Napa than even Cab Sauv. Yep, the secret’s officially blown.

Even in our epic Spring Cleaning Marathon, we had some of the more IN THE KNOW operatives asking specifically for Cabernet Franc.

Crafted by rising star Weston Eidson—a Texas native with Napa roots from Jason Moore’s Modus Operandi to mentorship under Bobby Parker 100-point-scorer Russell Bevan—this one’s in expert hands.

Fun fact: winemaker Weston Eidson’s great-grandfather was a British Lord who gave the future King Edward VII his first-ever car ride—and was pals with none other than Charles Rolls and Henry Royce. Fitting, then, that Silver Ghost takes its name from the family’s 1909 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. This Cab Franc? As sleek and supple as that vintage beauty must have looked cruising through turn-of-the-century London.

Tobacco and dried floral spice kick things off—classic Cab Franc calling cards—followed by waves of blue and black fruit goodness. It all crashes into a finish brimming with vitality, rich dark chocolate, and, dare we say… intrigue. The palate? Silky and broad, just as you’d expect from fruit sourced from Napa royalty: Yountville and Oakville.

Are we thinking about Napa Cab Franc too much? Maybe. Obsession might be more accurate.

There’s only so much of this and your Spies are already pillaging the shipment. Get it!

92 Points – Wine Enthusiast “Bramble and garrigue aromas join flavors of tobacco leaf, cocoa and cassis. Firm and fine tannins are met by persistent, balancing acidity and lots of length. This Cabernet has the structure to pair with food and the flavor to enjoy on its own.”

**91 Points – James Suckling "This is fruity and succulent with blackcurrants, blackberries, dried flowers, spices and dried orange peel. Medium- to full-bodied with succulent character and juicy acidity. Juicy and supple. Drink now or hold."
