From the Seller

Heidi Barrett makes legendary Cabs and red blends, we all know that.

She also makes a mean dry Moscato that we’ve featured before and a Rosato that we had not.

Until today. Every time we catch up with Remi Barrett, we ask if they can get us more of anything and when they do, we ask if they can get us more Moscato or Rosato. The answer is usually no, as they make just enough to satisfy the thirst of their mailing list.

Picked by Robb Report for a Best of the best as 1 of “8 Standout Wines From Napa Valley’s Most Prolific Consultants” they raved on as “The top winemaking consultants fulfill typical contracts for dozens upon dozens of winery clients: Stop by for tasting sessions, and weigh in on blending decisions. With hundreds of wines on each consultant’s roster, selecting a few to try isn’t always easy... Heidi Peterson Barrett is a winemaker and entrepreneur who has been responsible for some of California’s most notable cult wines. From the creator of Screaming Eagle comes a rosé for less than 30 bucks! Made from Primitivo (a near-DNA double for Zin) from the Sierra foothills, the mouthwatering pale pink is crisp and aromatic, with rose-petal notes and bright red-berry flavors.”*

It radiates a brilliant orange to pink in our glasses! Mineral-accented red berries, orange zest, and gentle rose petals are complemented by spicy elements that build as the wine opens up. Juicy and seamless on the palate, sweet strawberry, Bing cherry, and tangerine are all backed by juicy acidity. Concentrated yet energetic in character, finishing with resonating red fruits and a juicy watermelon mouthfeel.

Stuff your lockers with as much as you can of this deliciousness before it disappears for the day!
